CREATIVE DIRECTOR, COPY / LEAD WRITER, THE SPRINGHILL COMPANY (TSHC)

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Creative Director (Copy) / Lead Writer is a creative beacon for The SpringHill Company leading development of insights-driven original ideas and concepts for our owned brands: Uninterrupted and SpringHill, and that of our brand partners. This role is a creative leader who has experience managing writing teams and developing short-form, long-form, and episodic content.
The ideal candidate has a passion for sports and lifestyle culture, has a demonstrated ability to concept and execute on-brand and on-brief, and possesses the unique talent to translate their ideas into original brand messaging, copy, or content scripts. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of work that demonstrates a diversity of project types from marketing communication to branded content to entertainment content. They will also be an experienced and engaged manager, capable of building and leading a creative writing team that sets an expectation for excellence and collaboration.
The CD role sits within the Creative team reports to the Chief Creative Officer, and works closely with Creative Directors, Strategists, Writers, Art Directors, Designers and Project Managers. The Creative team, also known as the Department of Abnormal Results, is a mix of highly talented, creative individuals from brand, sports, entertainment, fashion, and design.
In this creative leadership role, the CD will have the opportunity to deeply impact and drive our storytelling. The CD role is a source of inspiration that is relied upon for creative thinking, strategic problem solving, and mentorship to the project team working with them. The ideal candidate is exemplary at building collegial and client relationships and is natural at leading their project team through a collaborative creative process.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development of insights-driven creative concepts, content, and storytelling for TSHC brands and partner campaigns
  2. Lead the Creative project team to develop and execute audience-specific content
  3. Lead and manage the creation of brand messaging, copy, and content for scripted and unscripted short-form, long-form, and episodic content
  4. Lead development of presentation materials throughout the content development or campaign lifecycle
  5. Manage a team of writers and ensure their projects are on-brand, and on-track
  6. Balance multiple in-house and external client projects, with tight deadlines and often a high volume of work
  7. Elevate overall work quality by setting increasingly high standards and articulating ambitious creative opportunities
  8. Establish and maintain positive relationships with all clients, becoming an expert on our brands, and our brand partners’ culture, products, preferences, and expectations
  9. Provide recommendations on artists, directors, editors and other creative collaborators as needed for content and campaign projects
  10. Collaborate cross-functionally with TSHC internal teams (brand partnerships, marketing, social, production, etc) to develop strategies and ideas that support the execution of creative concepts within a campaign
  11. Promote a positive creative culture through teamwork and leading by example
  12. Collaborate with Project Managers to prioritize and staff projects (i.e. be able to delegate swiftly and play to the writing team’s respective strengths)
  13. Work closely with internal cross functional teams to create cohesive storytelling, and to ensure cross-functional integration and strategic implementation of TSHC voice.
  14. Mentor and guide your team toward the goal of accelerating skills progression through a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing
  15. Collaborate with Resourcing team to develop a best-in-class in-house and freelance team of copywriters and content contributors
  16. Collaborate with Sr. Director of Creative Operations and Chief Creative Officer to define the vision for the writing team
Qualification Necessary
  1. 10+ years of relevant experience in advertising, marketing, or entertainment
  2. 3+ years of experience directly managing individuals or teams
  3. Must have an extensive portfolio of creative work that addresses complex storytelling challenges across entertainment, and marketing/advertising content
  4. Must have a deep understanding and pulse on culture, particularly sports and lifestyle culture
  5. Deep experience with and comfortable leading client presentations and meetings
  6. Possess an openness to giving and receiving constructive criticism
  7. Passion for sports and entertainment required
  8. Bachelor’s degree in related field

MEDIA MANAGER, THE SPRINGHILL COMPANY (TSHC)

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Springhill Company is looking for a Media Manager to join our growing Post Production team. As a Media Manager, you will be in charge of overseeing our media lifecycle from start to finish, making sure that our content and all assets associated with it are properly backed up, indexed, and archived.
Success for this position will be measured by your attention to detail, technical expertise, and organizational skills. You will ensure that all raw media and deliverables are ingested and backed up for our editorial team, and archived for long term preservation and recovery.
Our ideal candidate is highly tech literate, with experience applicable to both IT and Post Production workflows.

Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for ingesting digital assets, metadata tagging, and organizing assets in our MAM.
  2. Assist editorial team with ingest and delivery.
  3. I/O of files via Aspera, MediaShuttle, Frame.io, and other media sharing platforms.
  4. Fulfill asset requests to our internal staff and editorial team.
  5. Ensure that all media safely and securely changes hands between our in-house post team and third party vendors.
  6. Manage and maintain metadata standards relevant to digital assets within our MAM and content library.
  7. Archival of final media, leveraging LTO and Cloud technologies to diversify our backups.
  8. Catalog and disseminate hard drives as needed.
  9. Archival / retrieval of materials at on-prem and at our off-site storage facility.
  10. Adapt and self-educate as new in-house tools and technologies are integrated into our workflows.
  11. Actively participate in workflow/process development within a growing team of Post Production experts.
Basic Qualification
  1. 5+ years of experience that’s inclusive of (but not limited to) information technology, systems management, physical & digital asset management, data entry, I/O coordination, in a technical or post production environment.
  2. Mac and PC proficiency.
  3. Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, AVID Media Composer, Microsoft Office, and demonstrated familiarity with all types of common video file formats.
  4. Excellent organization and time management; possesses an ability to prioritize a large volume of work effectively & efficiently with tight deadlines.
  5. Highly organized with attention to detail.
  6. Ability to use good judgment when performing high-risks tasks.
Preferred Qualification
  1. Experience in Media and Entertainment or Broadcast industries.
  2. Experience with MAM or DAM applications.
  3. Prior experience in production or post production processes and facilities.
  4. Ability to coordinate and track high volume of work through an end to end workflow.
  5. Adaptability and resilience to quick changes in priorities, tools, workflow and technology.
  6. Experience or demonstrated understanding of cloud storage technologies (AWS and GCP).
  7. Experience with cloud-based work management tools or ticketing systems.

The SpringHill Company is seeking an experienced and talented Senior Art Director to join our creative team. The Senior Art Director will be responsible for developing and executing original content and campaign concepts for our internal brands and brand partners. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our team of Creative Directors, Strategist, Designers, and Writers to concept, design and execute culturally relevant campaigns that resonate with our creative vision. Success in this role requires a culturally connected visionary capable of bringing life to creative concepts, excels in graphic design, and has excellent time management skills. Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development of original creative concepts that are grounded in cultural insights and research
  2. Direct the vision, look, and tone for content and campaigns for The SpringHill Company brands, and our brand partners.
  3. Partner with the creative team to translate brand strategy and goals into creative solutions
  4. Steward creative from concept to execution and delivery including identifying creative challenges, guiding the conceptual direction, developing visual identities, and defining the stylistic vision and narrative
  5. Lead client and partner-facing creative presentations
  6. Create and maintain the highest standards for process and delivery to ensure all creative outputs are on-brief and on-brand.
  7. Confer with creative team and cross-functional leads to discuss brand or partner requirements to coordinate creative activities
  8. Respond quickly to and proactively anticipates business needs and scalable creative solutions

Qualification Necessary
  1. A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
  2. 2+ years of lead design and art direction experience at a senior level

As a strategist/brand architect, you are one of, if not the, most important cog in The Robot Company clock in that you’re responsible for the inception and generation of insights and creative strategies that lead to ‘never been done before’ ideas and creative for both Robot’s, The SpringHill Company’s and Client’s business and brand objectives. Responsibilities
  1. DEVELOP big ideas, guide and drive strategies grounded in Client Partner goals and objectives while marrying Robot’s expertise in sports, entertainment, and cultural marketing.
  2. UNEARTH cultural insights and tap into the larger Robot team on application of those insights to drive storytelling around key strategies and activations in order to achieve the best creative output solutions.
  3. DISCOVER opportunities stemming from cultural, social, and digital trends that can inspire richer opportunities and moments that Robot’s Client Partners can own.
  4. COLLABORATIVELY DRIVE strategic projects from ideation to completion to ensure internal, client and partner expectations are aligned, specifically adhering to timelines, and ensuring strategic and team accountability.
  5. BUILD rapport and trusted relationship with Client Partners, based on expert counsel, including day-to-day clients as well as internal senior management.
Qualification Necessary

PRODUCTION ACCOUNTANT (PRE-PRODUCTION), THE SPRINGHILL COMPANY (TSHC)

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Production Accountant will be a key strategic partner with the cross functional teams in the creation of executable production plans and show budgets that represent the creative vision of the projects. They will be instrumental in estimating final costs, evaluating risks and opportunities and optimizing production entity structure to best monetize production incentives and minimize financial and legal risk.
Responsibilities
  1. Partner with the cross functional teams to create and manage production schedules and budgets.
  2. Provide and present clear, accurate and timely production planning scenarios and analysis to both Producers and cross functional teams during the life cycle of a film.
  3. Ascertain and solve budgeting and staffing issues.
  4. Collaborate with Producers to quickly estimate and evaluate production health against milestones and data metrics.
  5. Create budgets and summaries that provide metrics and data that can be shared broadly to ensure cross functional alignment and well-informed decision making.
  6. Adapt to changing scenarios, anticipate problems and recommend solutions to Producers.
  7. Provide accurate, detailed and timely cost reports, cash flows and headcount forecasts.
  8. Comply with all policies and procedures for POs, invoices, checks and time card approvals.
  9. Direct Assistant Production Accountant on all aspects of their job to ensure compliance, accuracy and timely processing of all payments.
